Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has introduced Balvatika as a form of preschool education. In first phase, K.V.S. (Headquarters) has given permission to 50 prominent KVs for introdution of Balvatika. In the next year 450 KVs were identified for opening on Balvatika 1,2 and 3.
At present, Balvatika-3 class is being run successfully in our school. As per the KVS admission guidelines, the minimum age for admission to Balvatika-3 as on 1st April of any admission year is 5 years and maximum permissible age is 6 years, with relaxation of 2 years in the upper age limit for “Divyang” applicants.
